LAB111
This slightly depressing building, formerly housing a pathology lab, is now a multifunctional space with exhibits, theatre performances, film screenings and of course a bar and restaurant. LAB111 has free Wifi, music of resident DJ's and honest, good food. And, how appropriate: surgery lamps hanging over the reading table.

FIFTEEN Amsterdam
Fifteen Amsterdam is no ordinary restaurant. It is based on the successful concept of Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen in London, and continues his vision which is to give 15-20 youngsters every year the opportunity to change their lives and train to become chefs. The eight group of new apprentices will start their training December 2010.
Panama
Restaurant and renowned nightclub. Again a place with an historical background as its building has served for ages as the harbourcenter.
The College Hotel
This unique venue for drinks is housed in a unique and stylish 19th century building that was originally established as a school in 1895. The College Hotel is a boutique hotel and restaurant that remains true to its educational heritage; its staff is made up of students from the Amsterdam Hotel Management School, who work together under the watchful eye of experienced professionals.

Trouw Amsterdam
TrouwAmsterdam is een restaurant, club en kunstruimte gevestigd in de voormalige krantendrukkerij van Trouw, Het Parool, NRC en Volkskrant. Trouw is opgericht in een tijd van crisis, van tijdelijke aard en brengt op vernieuwende en creatieve wijze muziek, eten en hedendaagse kunst en cultuur samen. Dus dé plek voor Inspiratie.

Amstelkerk
De Amstelkerk is gebouwd in de jaren 1668-1670 als noodkerk voor de bewoners van het nieuw aangelegde tweede deel van de grachtengordel. Het ontwerp van stadsbouwmeester Daniël Stalpaert was zo eenvoudig uitgevoerd dat men sprak van een 'preekschuur'. Uiteindelijk werden de plannen voor een grote stenen kerk op het Amstelveld niet uitgevoerd en is de 'noodkerk' tot op de dag van vandaag blijven staan.

The former Renault showroom opposite the Amstel Station has been transformed into Café -Restaurant Dauphine. The name 'Dauphine' refers to the successful Renault model from the fifties.
